Installation of implants under the pectoral muscle

Micromastia caused by insufficient breast development led to psychological discomfort for the patient and prompted her to seek treatment at our clinic. Augmentation mammoplasty was performed using anatomical implants manufactured by McGhan. The breast augmentation surgery required an inframammary approach to access the pectoral muscle. Despite the patient’s limited amount of natural tissue and the necessity to place the implants only in the submuscular plane, the final result was excellent.
