Result of genioplasty or chin augmentation

The patient had a disproportionate lower face. Due to this asymmetry, the nose appeared much longer. The result shown is after chin augmentation surgery (genioplasty) using an implant. It is clearly visible that the appearance has changed significantly thanks to the procedure. Genioplasty can be performed under local or general anesthesia, and the procedure takes between 15 and 30 minutes. The effect after surgery is impossible to miss — changes in appearance are noticeable both in profile and from the front. Chin augmentation allows for a substantial improvement in facial proportions, naturally enhancing one’s appearance. It is evident that only about one centimeter was missing in the chin area to achieve ideal balance. The surgery is performed through an incision inside the mouth.
