Example of simultaneous surgery to improve appearance

A simultaneous surgery was performed to enhance the patient’s appearance. A combined set of procedures was carried out, including rhinoplasty together with ear shape correction (otoplasty). The asymmetry and bifidity of the patient’s nasal tip were corrected. The result was so remarkable that the patient was hardly recognizable at the next visit. The nose became shorter, the nasal hump was refined, the nostril size adjusted, and the bifid tip corrected — all without the need for osteotomy, or in other words, a surgical nasal bone fracture.
