The patient was dissatisfied with the broad shape of her nasal tip and bridge, which did not harmonize with her facial features. The front-view photo shows how beautifully the bridge and tip of the nose have been refined. Excessive narrowing was avoided, as it would have disrupted aesthetic balance given the patient’s broad cheekbones and facial structure. This type of nasal tip is often referred to as a “boxer’s tip.” In the three-quarter view, one can see that the small dorsal hump has been removed and the depression above the tip corrected. The nasal tip has gained a refined and elegant appearance. The side-view photo shows how the patient’s profile has become more balanced. The images were taken one year after open rhinoplasty.
