The AuraLift technique is a fundamentally new approach to plastic and reconstructive surgery. This modern facelift and neck lift allows you to achieve incredible natural results and preserve natural facial expressions.
AuraLift compared to a classic facelift
A classic facelift is aimed at surgically removing sagging skin and excess fatty tissue. Using the AuraLift technique, a plastic surgeon does much more. During the operation, the doctor lifts all the tissues of the neck and face that have sagged over time. The result is a striking, natural change in the appearance of the face under the eyes, around the nasolabial folds, jawline, neck, chin, and décolleté area.
I would like to emphasize that this is an extensive operation, which, however, does not take much time and does not condemn the patient to a long and difficult rehabilitation period. Recovery is usually fairly quick and uneventful, provided that the patient follows all of their doctor's recommendations.
The fundamentally new AuraLift approach solves the main problems associated with face and neck lifts. Many plastic surgeons, when performing a facelift, only operate on the lower part of the face, which only affects the jawline and neck. To treat the middle part of the face, surgeons may add fat injections to increase facial volume or perform a separate midface lift through various incisions. However, this number of procedures increases the risk of unnatural and short-lived results.
The results of a classic facelift are expected to last up to 10 years, but in practice, they do not always stand the test of time. More significant and long-lasting results can be achieved with the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) lifting technique performed by experienced plastic surgeons.
The modern AuraLift face lift technology solves the problems of facial and neck aging for a wide range of patients without subjecting them to uncertainty about the results: in most cases, they are completely predictable.
I would like to note that middle-aged patients with dense skin need this technique to achieve natural and noticeable results, as it is based on the release of tissues rather than their removal. Other doctors often recommend various mini-lifts to such patients, resulting in only a slight improvement in appearance.
With AuraLift, sagging cheeks, a sagging neck, and even severe wrinkles and nasolabial folds are eliminated. Impressive and natural results are also achieved in men, who have denser and heavier facial tissue than women—the tissue release principle of the AuraLift technique works especially well for them.
How is the modern AuraLift facelift performed?
To perform the operation, the plastic surgeon makes incisions around the hairline and ears. This prevents the problem of elongated and flattened cheeks, which often bother patients after a classic facelift.
After freeing the first area of skin, the plastic surgeon goes deeper — between the smile muscles and the platysma/SMAS complex, which contains fatty tissue and skin directly above it.
The surgical procedure is performed from the eye down to the lowest parts of the neck. Doctors make several stitches from the inside to return the tissues of the face and neck to where they were in youth. In many cases, the plastic surgeon is able to achieve a better jawline than the patient had before the aging process began.
Complications with this type of surgery are fewer compared to a standard facelift. However, the patient should understand that they will still need to set aside time for the recovery period. The face usually returns to normal within two to three weeks, but it will take several months to see the final results.

Why Ukrainians turn to plastic surgeons – a survey of Dmytro Slosser's audience
Last week, I conducted a brief survey among my followers on Instagram using the Stories feature. Each question received a different number of responses, but on average, approximately 400 respondents participated. The purpose of this survey was quite simple: to understand what motivates people to undergo cosmetic surgery today. The results confirmed my own observations.

What is a Deep-Plane Facelift and How Does It Differ from a Classic Facelift?
The deep-plane facelift is a modern, technically demanding, but highly effective method of facial rejuvenation. It delivers natural results and significantly extends a youthful appearance. Unlike the classic facelift, it works with the fundamental structures of the face, restoring harmony without a “mask effect” and preserving natural expressions.
