The shell of certified breast implants is made of a special material that is biologically inert, i.e. the material is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, hypoallergenic, non-thrombogenic, etc. The tabloid press often publishes articles claiming that implants may not take root, but there is no adequate argument to support this. Indeed, there is a small percentage (about 3%) of all cases where complications arise after surgery. But even here, it should be understood that some of them are associated with the patient's improper rehabilitation period: excessive activity, concomitant diseases, refusal to wear compression garments, etc. Less than 1% of cases are associated with medical staff error.
