Aesthetic result of the lower blepharoplasty

A 22-year-old patient with a genetic predisposition to the formation of herniated fat pads under the eyes underwent successful lower eyelid surgery under intravenous anesthesia. The procedure was performed transconjunctivally, as there was no excess skin on the lower eyelids. Herniated fat pads were removed. The duration of the surgery was 45 minutes.
